Brooks West was born on February 22, 1916 in Hillsboro, Texas, USA as Dudley Brooks West. He was a producer and actor, known for Anatomy of a Murder (1959), The Eve Arden Show (1957) and My Friend Irma (1952).
He appeared on Broadway in numerous productions. He layed the triple role of Quirke, Saint Michael, and D'Estivet in the original Broadway production of Maxwell Anderson's "Joan of Lorraine."
In 1961, he co-starred in the pilot for a proposed series called, "The Colonel's Lady" where he played an Army officer who's fiancee (played by real-life wife Eve Arden) walked away from her movie career to marry him.
Brooks West died on February 7, 1984 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is buried alongside Eve Arden at Westwood Village Cemetery.
