Singer Lu Ann Simms 2003 Westwood Village Cemetery


Lu Ann Simms (Rochester, New York, July 11, 1932 - Hollywood, September 21, 2003) was a well known 1950s singer and performer on The Arthur Godfrey Show.[1] 




Born Lu Ann Ciminelli, she married music publisher Loring Buzzell and they had two daughters, Cindy and Beth.[2][3][4] Loring died of a heart attack at age 32 in 1959. 



Lu Ann Simms died on September 21, 2003. She is interred at Westwood Village Memorial Park. She shares her crypt with daughter Beth. Simms' plaque reads:

"LOVED ICE CREAM & DODGERS"
