Fanya “Foss” Lawrence (October 4, 1904 in Odessa, Odes'ka, Ukraine - December 12, 1995 in
Palm Springs, Riverside County, California) was a screenwriter, poet, and novelist. Born in Odessa, Russia, Fanya grew up in New York City.

Fanya wrote screenplays, teleplays, a novel ("Ask No Return"), a play ("Adam Ate the Apple"), poety, and magazine articles.
