Marilyn Monroe's Prescription Drugs


Promethazine (Phenergan)
Prevents and controls motion sickness, nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Also used to relieve or prevent allergic reactions, helps people go to sleep, and control their pain or anxiety before or after surgery or other procedures.
May treat: Pain, Motion sickness, Postoperative Complications, Perennial Allergic Rhinitis





Dexamethasone (Decadron)
Treats inflammation and many other medical problems. This medicine is a corticosteroid.
May treat: Tumor, Cerebral edema, Addison's disease, Septic shock, Blood disorder, Perennial Allergic Rhinitis




Chlorothiazide (Diuril)
This medicine is a diuretic that treats fluid retention and high blood pressure. A lower blood pressure can reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack.
May treat: High blood pressure, Swelling, Congestive heart failure
