Michael Thiess (June 4, 1945 Germany - May 26, 1969) was the son of actress Ursula Theiss and director George Theiss, and stepson of actor Robert Taylor.
Michael Thiess died from a drug overdose on May 26, 1969. Two weeks later, Robert Taylor passed away from lung cancer. Their niches are located side by side at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Glendale), Garden of Honor, Columbarium of the Evening Star.
