Paul Schreibman (June 11, 1909 in Bayonne, New Jersey, USA - June 23, 2001 in Los Angeles, California, USA) was an entertainment attorney who helped bring GODZILLA to the United States. Paul attended USC on a football scholarship. He studied law and became an entertainment attorney for celebrities and corporations. Representing Japan's TOHO Studios, he brought their hit GODZILLA, KING OF THE MONSTERS! (1956) to the United States.
Schreibman also owned and operated a number of Los Angeles movie theaters, including the
Belasco,
Coronet
and the Las Palmas.
Schreibman was married to actress Lois Collier, born Madelyn Earle Jones, until her death in 1999.
Paul Schreibman died in 2001. He is interred in Beth Olam Cemetery at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
