JOAN RIVERS on "The Love Boat"


Joan Alexandra Rosenberg (née Molinsky; June 8, 1933 – September 4, 2014), known by her stage name Joan Rivers, was an American actress, comedian, writer, producer, and television host, best known for her stand-up comedy.

"The Love Boat" ("Love Boat" in its final season) is an American television series set on a cruise ship, which aired on the ABC Television Network from September 24, 1977, until February 27, 1987. The show starred Gavin MacLeod as the ship's captain, who had and a handful of its crew, with several passengers – played by different guest actors for each episode – having romantic and humorous adventures. Bernie Kopell played Dr. Adam "Doc" Bricker, "Your Ship's Doctor."

  1. Thanks for posting that clip. I loved Joan Rivers and still remember her on with Johnny Carson in that era. My (now ex) wife and I saw her on our honeymoon at Caesars in Las Vegas, August 1973. She opened for Petula Clark and I wished she'd had longer than Petula. A great artist and an even better person!
